I've seen it discussed here before, but I'd like to request two ports on the Great Lakes (the inland waterway between Canada and the USA).

I'd like to see Toronto, Canada as a port. They have a sugar mill there, where they offload the sugar cane from ships and make sugar. It's a port that's not as important as it once was, but it's still a very big town.

I'd like to see the port of Goderich, Canada added as well. My dad's family is from there, and visited the port often as a young boy. They have a large salt mine there, ship salt all over the world. There is also a grain elevator, and a small rail spur from which they ship Volvo road graders.

I'd be happy to provide more info on either port, a quick Wikipedia search on either will help also. I live near Toronto, and I know Goderich like the back of my hand Very Happy

Well, since this is a Canadian port thread, i'm currently working on Bécancour,QC, and will be working my way east towards the maritmes and newfoundland.

I'd like to see Toronto, Hamilton and Thunder Bay (Port Arthur until 1969) ...

... and also US ports like Milwaukee, Green Bay, Toledo, Cleveland, Superior.
But as this is solely a Canadian port thread I do not mention it Wink

Happy Easter!
