In the summer 2003 I promised to translate a spreadsheet into english.

Bregalad, you let vote what is considered as "cheating". So this post expresses my opinnion about cheating in words. I think it is not cheationg if any helps like charts et cetera are used. It is definitly cheating in the very moment the *.xml files are modified. One "patch" can be found here. Around here was mentioned how to "enlarge" the bunkers of the vessel.

I think this is foul play and should be avoided like messing up the HoF file.

Editing XML files for performance benefits, am I agreeing with you, is not the way to go. thou the link you gave is just a small change, it is as easy as change the fuel price as changing the bunker/speed/consumption/capacity levels.

what fun is there in earning billions the first year?

At the request of Ruben I have made the fuel price used for calculation to be depending on where you are chartering, insteed of being an average.

At Rubens page it is possible to download the Financial Advisory Spreadsheet, hopefully he will also add the Vessel Advisory Spreadsheet.

The last one is brand new and can compare up to 14 vessels, and tell you which is most likely to be the most economical.

There is also a list for those people who like to have paper instead of an spreadsheet.

After some changes to the finacial spreadsheet i found that the version available online, didnt give any result.

Being online can't be avioded in this country!
My movement only makes me offline the time it takes from unpluging my PC at my old place to pluging my PC on at my new place.
