Major problem!!!

Hi I have a major problem. Most of the times, when I try to load, a sve game it takes over 10 min. to load. I cant find any problem, om my computer, but it looks like my harddisk does not load anything, at all.
Long time ago, I translated the cargo list, from english languege, to danish, but I dont think, that sould be the problem. I dont get any errors, on the screen. Any suggestions.

sound strange, how many ships do you have in the game ?
Also you can send us a saved game for checkout (poc@rdklein.de subject=saved game)
Also how many deleted ships are in the game (sold or sunken) they are also saved for debug purpose.

for the goods, if you translate you also need to translate all names of the goods in the harbour list.,

for my ships,cargo and harbors don't visit my web site as they are not there anymore

When I click on my game, it says starting loading Fx. E/ poc xxl game, or something like that it can take from 1 to 15 min. But after that when it continue it only take a min. or two, to get finished. My game is loading the ports, and the ships very fast, but not the the first part, of the game.

I have about 265 ports, in my game but I have had that, for a long time, but the long loading time is a newly discovered problem.

BTW. My translation, of the good, is done both in the town, and in the goods file, but is it legal for me to do that translation anyway.

Yes its me again. May its only a question, about my patience.
I was just about to go out, of my mind, but maybe thats just because that i´m not the most patient man, in this world.

to check it out I need a saved game, please send it at poc@rdklein.de

if you add harbours, all freights of all new harbours are also saved to the game file, I have to check what happens, or if there is a hidden limit,

anyway with the new version many things will change, as then user added harborus ships and goods are supported, also a list of the assignment will be saved, which is not at the moment -- this means, in the new version, all added harbours/ships might get scrambled if and old game is loaded, because the index is undefined -- I will try to find a solution for this aslo.

I have now discovered, that my Harddrive have some suspicious behaviour, when im trying to load other things, from that harddríve.
So maybe all my computer problems, are comming from that drive.

I have now changed my harddrive, and reinstalled my computer, but that did not help, at all. I cant download, and install a new full version, of the game, because i'm having some problems, with my licens code. It tells me about some errors, in it but that is not the first time, it did so.
Now i am looking forward, to a new update, I think, maybe it could help.

does it give an error message on the license, code ?

try to copy the original email into the directory where pocxxl.exe is located and name the email as poc.lic

Yes it says something about, that there is a License code, but it is damaged. Back in 2003, when I got my license I recieved it by mail, and also back then there was some emailexchange, between the two of us MR. Rolf-Dieter Klein, because I also back then have some license problem. Back in 2003 or 2004 I recieved 2 different license file, because, of the problems I have, and after some help, from a freind of mine we finaly got it, to work, but now I am back to the problems again.


I have a game, on my computer right now, but it is running extremly slow.
It can take from 5 min. to 1 hour, to start the game, and also when the game is started, it can take about 5 min. just to change from one day, to another.

Back when I first translated the cargo files, from english, to danish, there was no problem, at all, but after a short time, strange things starts to happen. I dont know, if it has something to do, with the latest update, of the game, but maybe it does.

At the time there is only one save game, in my savegame file, but that has not made any difference.

Now I can load my again, but I have some trouble, seeing the old selfmade ships, in my game. what can I do to change that. I know there was a thread, about this some time ago, but I cant find it.

Attention, if you use the version 0.99.64/66 to load your old game with self made shipsyou need to sort them in the new user addon folder,

for habours previous saved games might not find them again e.g. reassign them to different locations.

Starting with 0.99.64 saved games contain a list of all added goods/harborus to find them after reloading in a different environment.
Ship are loaded by NAME also in the previous version, so this should work.,
