I used to play POC on AMIGA and found this modern version completely by chance, and was too happy to contribute to the success of this great game by getting the Platinum License

I'm having a ball adding new ports and goods, haven't done ships, that is next.

I'm a commodity trader, dealing in frozen meats (beef, poultry, pork), exporting mainly towards West Africa

I would like to contribute the following to the POC community
- African Ports (there are a few already)
- Establishing the frozen meat trade routes (import and export)

I hope to be able to feed this thread with infos, that can be used by the ones who are better then me at programming ports and goods.

Frozen meat is huge business being done either bulk or in 40' refer container, very rarely 20'.
I will not go over board and differentiate between beef, buffalo , pork, chicken, turkey that would make it too complex, although if at one point someone wants to create those specific goods, I will gladly provide the relevant data.

Main North American Ports from where frozen meats are exported:

CANADA
- Toronto (containers)
- Montreal (containers)
- Vancouver (containers)

USA
USEC +Gulf
- Port Elisabeth (or NY depending how you programmed your game) (containers)
- Norfolk (containers)
- Charleston (containers)
- Savannah (containers and bulk)
- New Orleans (bulk)
- Mobile (bulk)
- Houston (containers)
USWC
- Los Angeles (containers)
- Oakland (containers)
- Portland (containers)
- Seattle (containers)

Nearly all important african harbours are allready done! Look on my webside and on bigbears side for them.

The good "Frozen Meat" is allready done by Bearsie.

There is no way to define wich cargoes are accepted by a port. Only the exported cargoes can be defined.
