hello rdklein,

you should think about put the analog dispays in the bridgeview.
at the moment you have to choose one of the other views to have for
example the deg/min view which is absolutely necessary in the master
mode.

I have some suggestions for the bridge view

1. It would be good to have a transparent blue tinged filter over the analog instruments at night to help preserve night vision as seen in Ubisoft's Silent Hunter series.

2 For older ships it would be great to have older looking equipment on the bridge i.e. brass telegraph, wooden/brass wheel, old style compass etc.

3. It would be great to have a sweep on the radar, this would be a nice visual effect & raise the tension in gameplay also as parts of the scope would not be visable for a few seconds. perhaps you would have to purchase expensive upgrades to speed up rate of display/get the full view back.

The new screenshots look great the fog gives many possibilities for tense gameplay, great idea RDK!

Dear RDK.

Do you plan to place the port of IJmuiden in your game?

It would be fantastic to steer through the locks all the way down the northseacanal an then arrive in Amsterdam, not starting halfwaydown like it is now.

Best regards,

DennisV

Yes I will, I have this port already in our smallwater version, so it makes sense to add it also for the xxl version e.g. in pocsim3dii,
I can extend the amsterdam part to support it.

But as I can see there is only one lock between Amsterdam and the North Sea (e.g. some are located in parallel), or do you have a more detailed plan?
