Hi RDK,

Some remarks to POC3DSimII:

Hot keys should be identical in both 2D and 3D simulation:
In 3D the "Pos1" key (German keyboard) puts the rudder midships,
in 2D the same key stops the engine.

In 3D keys are available for all zero-positions (rudder, thrusters and engine),
in 2D I only found the Pos 1 key to stop the engine. Did I miss anything?

When 3D starts inside pocxxl I can look to port and starboard while moving the mouse,
when I start it separately without pocxxl the same function is not available.

In the pull-down window for the view positions I read "side 1" and "side 2", somehow confusing and unprofessional;
why not "Starboard" and "Port"?

There is no difference when loading 3D from inside or outside pocxxl. But when inside pocxxl you expect a short loading procedure because type of ship, scenery and qualification of the master are laid down and fixed allready. Modules not required should be left out to shorten the start procedure.

Fine tuning necessary: When using small ships, 3D radar view and chart view (F3) are both not identical to the bridge view, which is ahead of the latter. With the biggest ship available it seems to be better but is still not perfect.

Enough for tonite, more to follow when necessary!

It is a pleasure steering a vessel through the slight swell to its destiny using the new POC3DSimII simulation (while lifting a glass of cubra libre and drinking to the good old times ).

Regards Sparky

I found the P-key to pause the game Very Happy .
But only the ship's movement ceases, sound and clock keep running.

In pocxxl it's the space bar for pause ... Crying or Very sad
