I tried Rize.ply but with no luck. It says that the port has 0 berths and puts the ship on wait. Same for Bandirma.ply.
I already posted the xml harbour files for Bandirma. Rize will follow shortly, when I get some harbi pics done. It would have been great if some had their ply files as well.
Looking forward to THE Harbor Editor... |

Thank you very much for the information. I managed to correct the file and try it out a couple of times. Too bad that gold licence does not allow practicing user added ports, so I have to start a new game for that. Nice job but it definetly needs more work. It needs a shoreline as well. (Actually all poc ports are on islands. May be Rdk may limit the play field, so that they are not islands.)
I just managed to post the harbour xml, map and harbi files for Rize. It is under the "Turkish Ports" thread. This may encourage and give an incentive to work on those ply files. I wish I knew how.
Best regards,
Typhoon

When you remove the spaces it should work.
The created maps are tiny at the moment. What is a normal size for a portmap?

I made the layout in GetData Graph Digitizer.
I used a Image as Background to draw the layout
After that I used the export for creating the ply.
The export must be edit. But the basic is fine. |
Can you describe that a bit more!
I have downloaded GetData Graph Digitizer and i have drawn a small harbour. Than i have exportet it as a .txt file, but the data do look completly different to the PoC.ply files. What next ??? _________________ Visit http://www.pocshipyard.de for free ships and harbours |
