Hello. My name is Anh and I'm a habour pilot in Viet Nam. I've downloaded Port Of Call 3D II. Installation went smoothly but as I tried to execute the game it showed me the splash screen "3D engine starting....please wait" and then error diaglog box appeared telling me "Fail Creating the Direct3D device"
My laptop Core 2 Dual 1.6Ghz, intergrated Intel mobile 945 chipset (lastest driver updated); Directx 9c....I know my lappy is not for kind of 3D gaming but I hoped at least it could show me the game even with only a few fps.
Could someone please tell me how to solve this problem ? Arghh, I want to play this game so badly, you know as a pilot I really really want to see how exciting piloting a ship.
Many thanks. Wish you guys enjoy the game. |

sorry,
for poc sim3dii there is no way for a "integrated Intel mobile 945 chipset" as it does not have the direct x 9.0c instructions, only nvisia and ati cheips do support this.
you can only use the older pocsim3d with opengl suppport |
