Next update will have a language selection (some users wish to continue in english for example without setting the language in the iphone)

for the next update I provide a option menue to override the default language, below I set the following text - the first english and german original is preferred, for savety I used the 2nd english text which is not exact what happens, as only the in game text (POC SCREEN) not the buttons arround are changed (I left them as it is nice to have the dual language feature).:

I think there is a small typo as well as another, more apt way to state that:

"Your company status is ",
"going down the drain.",
"So 500.000 $ of subsidies",
"have been reimbursed.",
"Bad luck?",

Also, please consider "A stroke of bad luck?" or "Having a stroke of bad luck?"
"Mode" in place of "Modus". (only know that word as "Modus operandi")

"Sorry, there are no ships having mortgage."

May I suggest:
"Sorry, there are no ships currently mortgaged."

or simply: "There are no ships with mortgages."

I am new to the forum, but not new to Ports of Call that I discovered on Amiga 500 a long time ago Very Happy

I bought the iPhone version, and was happy to find the same good old game, until the day where translations appeared !

The french version is ... terrible !!! Very Happy

So can I help you translate from english to french ?

Have you a list of all the english texts used in the game, so I can do the whole translation ?

Its a real huge list spreaded over many files.
Would be great if you can use the above text as a start point as this is the new translation done by ourself, despite the older texts in the game done by a professional years ago ! I got some feeback that the frenchtext was not perfect put ok,
