hi,

as a newb to this forum after playing POC since years allready and reading this topic, the following came into my mind:

How about contacting some "officials" for support / "sponsoring" for a meeting?

example:
The port of Hamburg went private on October 01th 2005.
How about contacting the Hamburg Port Authority for some support on organisation for a meeting?
Maybe they could also offer some "look behind the scenes" where "normal" tourist can't get.

Not sure if I could help in any way allthough I am working for the HPA, but i would like to do it.

about the number of people it difficult to estimate, I think a 20-50 or should be possible,

To reanimate this thread (after 1 year):

I think a meeting with all the people who played PoC(classic/windows and/or XXL) would be nice.

Naturally in a city which is also in the sim. (Port of Rotterdam would be nice or Hamburg).

And would be also glad to meet with the two people who chased me to "waste" my time at my Amiga end of the 80's ;P
