Although late in the year, but how about during the Europort Trade Fair in Rotterdam, 1-5 November 2005.
Guess the organisation should be able to arrange some space there as it is taking place in Ahoy.

Hi Eriq,

Sounds great, i would go !!!
Perhaps for the dutch people it could be the chance to be for the first Dutch PoC meeting combined with the first International PoC meeting !!

Good thinking !!!

Greetz,

Gerard

PS: I marked the dates as reserved for PoC Cool

Hi Eriq,

Well, for your information, the first Dutch meeting for planned OK, but at the last moment some people were unable to come.
But the trip as the actions and the "eating" afterward where planned.
So it was a pitty it didn't happened.

But now we (i for sure) are looking forward to the november meeting 2005 Exclamation

Greetz,

Gerard

For 2006 we plan a big conference in Antwerpen,
we just got a loose ok from the Antwerp Maritime Academy
but more will follow as soon as we have prepared more:

plans are for some papers in a paper section,
lan party (POC only of course), and many more.

I think a PoC meeting is a wonderful idea! Although I was one of the people who couldn't make it to the dutch meeting last year. I look forward to seeing all you PoC addicts Razz
Antwerp is fine, Rotterdam is the best, but also Hamburg is a great city where you can have a lot of fun (I've worked there last year).

Hi all,

Antwerpen/Anvers seems quite good, but unfortunately me & my wife may not have enough days off left to make the trip. As soon as the date is known we'll try to plan it. But may it already be on a greater week-end, with some official off day on friday or monday, would be easier ? I know it's not easy, as official off days are different in each country. I'm from France...

Anyways, even if we don't get to it on 2005 we'll be on the 2006 edition, provided of course it be in Europe and no too far from Paris !

2006 is around the corner, and Antwerp seems a nice location. What's even better, not too far from The Hague, so good chance for me to make it. Will have to check more often around here. Very nice idea, such gettogether.

Hi all

1. I'm one of newest ( or maybe even newest) owner of Platinum license and probably one of very few from Poland. Is it posible that next meeting could be somewere near Poland (Germany, Denmark, Sweden perhaps)?
I understand that it can be no earlier than 2007. Sad (my bad luck)

2. I've become member of this forum in 2003 (so it took quite a while to put first post Wink ) But let me say this:

POC was my best Amiga game light years ago, same was PC ver. but XXL is really AWESOME i cannot understand how coud i've been so STUPID to play for 2 years only one hour a game. Wink Smile

Greetings to all and hope to meet near Poland

P.S.
If some of you hapens to be in Gdańsk mail me archiea@op.pl i'll gladly meet and show best places in this most beatiful Polish city

Antwerp would be GREAT, biceaus I live 10 kilometers away from Antwerp.
Maybe all the pocplayers can go and look in the harbor and stuf like that.
There allso is a portcentre in Lillo (Middle in the port of antwerp) where you can arrange tours with a bus. Biceaus a lot of places arent public accesseble and by bus, they are.
And the non-pocplayers (wives) can take a look in the butyfull city of Antwerp.

information of the portcentre in Lillo: Scheldelaan 444/B-2040 Antwerpen 4/tel: 035699012/fax: 035699039/e-mail: havencentrum@skynet.be
