which service pack on windows 2000 is installed ? And how much main memory?
as we had to switch from NT to XP as developmentsystem for pocxxl, it might be necessary to use the current service pack ... |

what is the system do you use,
OS, memory, graphic card ...
did you use poc before without crashing on this machine ?
its important to udpate graphic driver and flash .

| When I start a game with 1 human and 2 computer players (maybe other combinations too, did not try), after 2 hours the background images and port plans stop being loaded, and the game crashes soon aft ... |
