Anybody is common with the two now legendery wrecks of the red sea? Both of them were sunk by German Bombers in 1942, and are now famous wrecksites.
Thistlegorm was constructed 1940 and was the same type like other ships of the thistle-line. The all were named with gallic names (Thistlegorm = blue thistle), so e.g. thistlebrae. Thistlegorm should transport lorries, cars, motorcycles and some machinery to the british troops, that were fightinh against rommel at that time. Due to the lock up of the Suez canal, the ship had to go around africa coming from britain and was sunk in the red sea between hurghada and sharm el sheik (whih would be great harbors especially for tourists/passengers) before getting to Port Suez (alos would be a great harbor to do)
Rosalie Moller is older (constructed in 1910), and was a coal freighter.

best of both is that both are fully documented in plans (plans and sections), so if anybody is interested in making up these to ships, just should answer this post.

If you are interested in pics, just google for the names of the ships, and you will find some diving pictures of the wrecksites

ps: both ships are longer than 100 meters, which i consider quite large for freighters of that time.
