I am sure there are others that have a hard time finding teeny weensy topview ships on the 2D map when maneuvering.
My last solution?
Take a coaster of say 50 by 7 meters and simply put a 1 in front of the measurements, which will give you a bigger berth aka the: "Blue Parking Spot"...
Then you can upscale the topview from 50x7 pixels to 150 by 17
without losing the original measurements.
this change doesn't seem to affect anything else in the game
and makes the darn thing visible.
It also allows for a little bit more detail in the top view. _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |

Hmm, i think 0,91 is only for the sideviews!
For the topviews its 0,61, they are bigger then the sideviews. _________________ Visit http://www.pocshipyard.de for free ships and harbours |

I always thought it was 0.91 for both, no that it matters much for the side view.
I guess one could go into the top view files and compare the pixels to
the xml file measurements.
That should settle it _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |

The size of the blue spot is taken by the computer from the xml file for the ship, so the bigger the ship the bigger the "parking spot"
Hence the scale is of some importance I never measured how much bigger the blue spot is as a %, but assume its a given %
that is also part of the reason to my original statement on the very top.
to make the picture bigger and still be able to park you have to make the dimensions in the xml bigger, or you will not be able to finish parking because you wont fit in the spot... _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |
