There is not a good formula for the waterline.
Most of my ships are 110 pixels high.
The average waterline for that is between 85 and 95.
But it depends a bit on the ship and where in the picture the ship sits.
Basically you put the ship in the game and see, then adjust , then look again...
It is a bit time consuming, since you have to start a new game bring up the ship, adjust the xml, then start a new game again....

What about uper than 110 pixel vsls?

The computer cuts off anything over 115 pixels, no sense making it then...
