Loaded liquified natural gas on the gas tanker Golar Spirit from Port Of Spain to Abbot Point - no route calculation possible = distance 0,0 km, had to skip this lucrative cargo.

Destination and ship are both user add-on's. Where is the fault, in the add-on's or in poc?

In other combinations both ports and the vessel are working without problems.

Thanks for the tip, have you solved your case last year?

I don't believe that this is a problem of the coordinates (y196 x1474), I have been to Abbot Point many times with different ships and cargoes without problems, but I do not remember if there was any cargo with origin PoS.

I just changed the coordinates to the position given on the Abbot Point website (19° 51,5's 148° 05'e = y195 x1480) and startet a vessel in ballast from Antofagasta to the new position, no problem. This position looks even more authentic on the map, some distance off shore.

In real life I certainly could not discharge my LNG cargo at Abbot Point as there are no facilities. But pocxxl in this version will probably not consider this.

My problem remains but I am sure that RDK has a solution.
BTW I checked that tanker and origin port are part of poc while the destination port is a user add-on.

Have a nice sunday.

This problem only appears with ships larger than panamax.
In an unmodified game the coast of queensland is not accessable with larger ships. To solve this Problem you can download my harbour Mackay & Hay Point. I have added modified map files to this harbour. If you copy them into the folder \pocxxl\images\ (replace the existing files) you can reach queenslands coast with large ships too.

Pay attention, this files are overwritten with evry PoC Update!

I've made a detour to La Guaira (route calculation ok) and tried to start from there to Abbot Point - same problem: No distance, no route calculation. It seems to be definitely a problem with this add-on port, probably in connection with the ship's size or cargo. But where is that encoded?

I could neither put the cargo back to shore nor could I deliver ... Crying or Very sad and solved the problem by selling the tanker to Kara, made a good deal and got 250 % of the money I paid for 2 years ago.

Hi Zootier, just read your reply after posting my last one.

I've understood the reason now and will follow your proposal, thanks.
I am sure that in future versions of poc this problem will be eleminated.

Just tested the modified map files of Zootier.
It works! No problem with big tankers along the Queensland coast.
Many thanks Very Happy
