hi,

i dodnt know if anyone else has come accross this, but after i had steard my ship successfully out of brisbane, it took me back to the screen to sat your ship is ready to leave. i was unable to use the steer by hand button, but was able to use tugs help. this is perticullerly frustrating as having done it manually once it then costs you more to use the tugs! any suggeastions as to what this could be? i am running vista and not had a problem before.

cheers

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hi rdk,

i thought you might like to have a bit more detail on the nature of the problem. have also included the system info at the end.

in a new or saved game the leaving the ports and setting the ship speed all goes as it should. it is on the second or third harbours when at the 'your ship is ready to leave port' screen when i select to 'stear by hand', the 3d sim starts ok and all is well. when , however i have sucssesfully compleated the simulation, pocxxl takes me back to the "your ship is ready to leave the harbour" screen again. if i try to click 'stear by hand' nothing happens. if i select 'use a tug' i can get to the 'ship speed' selection screen you should get after leaving the port. if i then try to continue with the journey the program reverts back to telling me my ship is ready to leave and then stalls at that page with no buttons opparating.

i have tried using the repair option with the installer and reinstalled both pocxxl and sim3dII again when that failed. i have the latest poc updates availible and have not had a problem with any version of poc before. your latest release worked fully untill 2 or 3 weeks ago.

c) can you disable antivirus programs for test (any updates in the last days on this ?)
