Fehlende Schiffe

Hello,

I hope I´m right here with my post.

I got a problem with the Classic Version (not the old one, the newer one, but it´s shown on my PC as "Ports of Call Classic Edition")

In the year 1985, a new ship was announced, the "Russia Express", a year later, 1986, the "Castillo de Lopera" was announced, but both ships weren´t availlable.....

I was able to buy every other ship, but those two didn´t appeare at the shipbroker´s market....

Has anyone an idea why this happened?

Hallo, ich kann das Problem bestätigen. Es scheint sich dabei um alle Schiffe zu handeln, die im "Training" als "Spezial Schiff" gekennzeichnet sind, wie z.B. auch der Cement Courier

Must be a kind of a bug.
special ships aren't included in the poc classic edition.
poc seems to show them although it shouldn't.
i guess that's why rdklein developed it from poc xxl and forgot to
suppress the showing of the ships avaiable in poc xxl.

I guess it's a bug. When I start a game in a later year like 1996 or so, I'm able to buy such a ship like Cement Courier or the banana cooling ship. But if they are developed while playing the game, they are only announced, but not available.

yes there was an updated version on this (long time ago about march 2007), but there are cdroms around with still the nov 2006 version.

which version do you have ?

It's Ports of Call Classic Edition rev 1.2.2
