When I start the 3dSetup it asks me for a resolution... I'm choosing 1024x768 [16] even I don't know what's the best one...

Anyway, after that question about the resolution NOTHING happens... I've tried to do the same few more times and still nothing...

What now?

What about the nvidia grafics driver did you use th elatest one,
also try to set the admin rights for 3dsetup and pocsim3d (we did had a problem with them),

did you try to start pocsim3d directly before you use pocxxl , this could be important also and for us to know where the problem is.

which path did you use for installation ? Also important for starting from pocxxl.

And also look for the .dat file in the directory where pocsi3md is installed, after 3dsetup it shoudl be there.

I don't know what nVidia graphics driver I use... How to see that? [I don't know to check that on this stupid Vista]

Anyway, yes... I tried to run the 3dsetup as an Administrator but the same thing happens... It asks me for the resolution I want to use and after that... nothing happens..

Yes, I tried the pocsim3D only and I can use the maps and ships that are free, for the others it asks me to buy a Platinum license...

The path is this: C:\Program Files\poc\pocsim3d and on this screenshot you can see what I have in the folder...

Ok, I have view questions...

1. If I have the platinum license and I can play the XXL game with it, why I can't use sim3d using the same license?

2. If I can't run 3dsim because of the license can I simulate the ship when approaching the shoals?

3. If I can't run 3dsim can I do trainings in the XXL version that I'm playing? [in the office there is a Training option to simulate the ship to enter the port, leave the port, radar simulations etc.]

your email does not display in the purchase list

you gave the info "someone(..) bought it for me"

other proof of purchase: "I dont know..."

we cannot enter this info in our secure database, you need to find the one who bought it and get the order number from him or an email or the email used at this time any identification !

Hallo Herr Klein,

VISTA SP1 and autoupdate,

to get this running again,
right click on the pocxxl icon and start "using admin rights", then the updater will work !,

Attention: Idea

Vista Sp1 and the license keys,

when using the clipboard (after you got the key in an email) , start pocxxl after copying the license into the clipboard (suing CTRl-C )
in ADMIN modus (right click and select start as admin),
only then the license is copied and detected automatically,

as vista uses a shadow directory system for program directories for example, admin modus is equired to handle this automatically.
