What about awards (like medals in other games), which either give more status or privileges/special loads. This can spice up the completion between companies, so it will not have any use for players who only play with one company. It’s more for economic play.

I’m thinking about this for a while now, and I wondering if others like t as well. I don’t know or check if someone else already placed such a request. Feel free to comment or add ideas.

Awards are actual, so they can/ will switch to another company if he takes over the criteria. He will the take over the privileges/special loads or gain more status. Here are some ideas:

FLEET AWARDS:

Biggest fleet in numbers
Biggest fleet in dwt
Largest Liner vessel in play
Largest Bulker vessel in play
Largest Container vessel in play
Largest Tanker in play
Or
Best performing vessel
Most diverse fleet (maybe to complicate in implement)

FINCANCIEL AWARDS:

Highest growth value over one year
Highest total vessel income
Highest price for a load
Best current company result
Highest stock market profit

Or
Most loads on time
Most popular
Best reputation / Accident count

MANEUVER AWARDS (for you simulation players)

Most successful harbor maneuvers
Most successful maneuvers trough shallow waters
Most successful life raft recovery maneuvers
Most successful …
I’m not sure about this last group, because you ear status anyway if you do the maneuvers successful.

yes good you mention it I though about this as many games have an award system now.
