Hello guys to everybody.... I am a new member on this forum..
..but I'm going mad..!!!

I have this message when I tried to start the PocSim3DII..

You tried to use PocSim3DII, which cannot be found.
We use the PocSim3D instead.
To use pocsim3dll if installed, it must be started at least once.

Please, tell me what can I do for this terrible situation..
Use simple word and very high details... I'm very hard to understand!!!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

-alex-

P.S. FOR ITALIAN PEOPLE: se qualcuno poi me lo dice in italiano cosa devo fare ancora meglio! [/b]

Hi Mr. RD.. Nice to meet you..

Sorry, I did't say that I have already installed the PocSim3DII, but the problem is there too!!!

I launch The 3DII simulator, and I played with it.. all things are good.. but from PocXXL, I read the error posted in my first message!!!

Now, I have the PLATINUM LICENSE and I have installed:
POCXXL
POCSIM3D
POCSIM3DII

Thanks Again!!! Wink

hello did you install every part of PoC in thepath "*:\program-files\poc" ?
then it should usually work.

if you did NOT, you'll have to do some adjustments in the windows registry. but there are people here in the forum who can explain this steo much better, as i never needed to do this.....

best regards,
CT

Alex,

Can this problem be caused by new serial procedure, as in: You didn't do this yet. Just asking because you are a new user.

I recently instaled POC XXL and all the other programs on my new office laptop. The old one died... All POC programs are in this folder E:\Games\POC\.. In my opinion you can install all POC components where you want to, as long as they are in the same folder.

The harbour editor didn't work because I forgot about the new licence procedure. This is an e-mail which you will need to copy in to POC XXL, afterthis all other applications should work.

New serial info...

best is to use
regedit
then search for
ports of call
look at the path or pocsimd3dii, it might be used the first path used for any old installation.

what is the current status ?
If it does not work, where is the path in the registry pointing to ?
use
regedit
search for "Ports Of Call" and there look at the path for pocsim3dii.
