Indeed I am reading. I log in every day but there nearly no activity. I really hope everybody is busy developing new awesome features.

Keep posting: it makes me feel PoC is not dead!

Hi,

I only recently got back to POC from my Amiga days, so all of this is still quite new to me Very Happy
And so I do read the messages, a bit pity that there is not much more action but hey, that way I was able to read up the old ones Cool

As I'm at it, some questions:

Redrawn:
It seems to me that for the redrawn ships I do have to edit the ship.xml file, or else I do get double entries at KARA, one with the edited and one with the original stats. The image seems to be always from the original location?

Stückgutfrachter / General Cargo Ships:
It seems to me that the scale for the ship "Unit Scan" is way bigger than any other ship?

Häfen/ports & Güter/Goods:
Not all of the required goods are at your site, some are simply bugged
(Passengers instead of Passenger)

Your pictures for harbors look great, did you get by any chance similar redrawns for the original ports?

Thanks and keep up the good work
T'Gellan

Hello and thanks for your compliments!

You´re right about the Redrawn ships, you must replace the entry in the original ship.xml file and replace the original pictures. But pay attention, every change in the original xml files will be overwritten with every PoC Update!
An other possibility is to use an empty ship.xml file, than you can store all ships in the user_addons folder. In that case you will lost some of the original ships, because replacements are not available for all ships.

I have done the Unit Scan after a request here in the forum. Its a small coaster, so i had to use an larger scale for the graphics to have some details visible. But Unit Scan is the only ship that is not in the original scale!

You are right with the ports, i often use goods that are not done by myself. You should find the missing goods on the websites listet in my link section.

If you´ve found some bugs, please report them to me! I will correct them!
It´s quite hard to find every bug on my one!

Greetings,

Zootier

After a longer period without any update, i have uploaded a new one today.

"der Seewolf" has done the Handy Bulker Camel (44.750 dwt, build 1978).

I have uploaded the old Shell Tanker Cinulia (13.655 dwt, build 1955),
the Panamax Containership Ital Lirica (5.089 TEU, build 2007),
the Cruise ship Enchantment of the Seas (2.730 passengers, build 1997 / lengthened in 2005),
and new sideviews for the ferry Kronprins Harald.

These were the last ships i had on stock. I dont know if i will do any more mods for PoC in future, because i am a bit demotivated.

regards,

Zootier
