Ports Of Call Sim 3D II
rev 1.20: Marseilles update,
multiuser sync for moving assets,
berth placer redone, now more random for choosing a berth.
- current system requirements:
1. Windows XP (dont try 2000 or older)
2. 3D card with pixel shader 2.0 (eg. GeForce 6800 or higher, or
ATI X600 or higher) with 256 MB RAM for textures.
3. Fast CPU -- eg. 2 GHZ or faster - laptops are usually too slow.
4. Main Memory 512 MB
5. Sound Card
6. Direct X 9.0c installed
7. Joystick or better GAMEPAD (USB) for useful play.
MAIN installer includes all TOWNS atc.

Exclamation And you need the "new eg enhanced" license key (poc.lic) which you get for free if you are a valid platinum customer. If you have already done this already, you dont need to get another key:

POC Sim3DII currently supports up to 4 users simultan in one scene, but each user needs his own license.
Important commands on the keyboard:
"M" return to the admin menue
"N" start a new game
"X" hide the head up menues during game or show them.
pageup,pagedown for daytime change if enabled in admin menue.
When starting with a gamepad the buttons 1,2,3,4 have fuctions for next and prev and camera change, also the mouse buttons, if using the gamepad, the mouse can be used for control of the camera vie

upload finished, currently we use a little bit slower connection - I will retry the Strato Server later (when its working). |

that sounds well .
But i hope there is a onlineupdater for sim3dII soon.
it's not so fun to download always the complete new file...
but i shouldn't complain , it has time .

when the download was ready i try to install it but it gave a 1/0 error so i will try it again, i hope that it was in my connection that this error was made |

we also check it but what was the file size you had ?
we still try to upload the file (now as splitt - but even the last split stopped at about 60MB). |

strange,
but I uploaded meanwhile to the main server, which is much faster please try,
meanwhile we download out gateway server file and will give feaddback soon. |

i have downloaded 115MB on the fast server and it workt perfectly
there was no 1/0 error

I don't know if you have tackeld the problem above, if so maybe that has caused this, other wise your download file is corrupted.
I get a I/O error when installing, this hapens as far as I can check by moving the message of the I/o error by copying file pocsim3dII\Media\sound\liner01.wav
I used the "MAIN installer includes all TOWNS atc. "
The file size is 120.117.895 bytes

If you downloaded from the gateway server then the file was corrupt on the server,
pelase download again from the www.rdklein.de server this should be ok
(we had defect ethernet card in the upload system). |
