				|
 |
				| Any way of implementing this? our barges, for example, can carry a total of 1000 tons of cargo. They have 12 fuel tanks, and space is available on the open deck to carry just about anything from furniture to construction material, heavy equipment, and even bulk gravel. I wonder if something along the lines of ''subtype>combined<subtype'' would allow us to carry bulk and oil cargoes. just a thought... _________________

				| Sorry, can't be done... But if you check with the bearovian shipwrights we can give you a good price on some almost new barges of either kind

The best way to find them is to stop in the red building by the bridge in downtown Bärenhafen (Bearhaven) for a cold one

				| oh i'm always up for a cold one! I guess the best way then is to have the first tug carry deck cargo and her sister ship will carry the oil... you have quite the selection of tugs and barges yourself!

 Any volunteers?

				| Its a problem Cat399 is having with the pictures not showing in the game. But I use Photo Impact, so I am not familiar with the commands for ms-paint.
Although I am playing with it at the moment in the office.
All I can say : it is a weird program LOL
When he sent me his file and I opened it into Photo Impact (similar to photoshop) it showed that it was not finished, I then use a "merge" command and save.
Trouble is I dont see anything like that in MS-Paint....
Hence the request for a paint expert

btw Jomach, did you have a chance to try the new Kempenaar with bushes?

				| i think i found the problem: ms paint is unable to do this merge command you're talking about. instead i used photo express to save the faulty images as a bitmap, then resave as a png and it works. so for now i'll use ms paint to cut out the boats, and ulead's PE to convert it. seems to have solved the problem...

what's the minimum ship dimensions does poc work with?
when i first wrote the length of the nelson at 65 feet, (20meters), it still wrote 30 m in the game?

Again, Peter, thanks for all your help.

				| I wonder. if Ulead PE is similar to Ulead PI why even bother with MS-Paint? As an aside, one reason you see so many of my ships background in white is that I am lazy and take short cuts, with a white background I can just invert the picture and then only "whitewash" it. Which saves a lot of effort.
I am not sure about size, do you mean the game changed the xml file to 30 meters? Or the blue "parking" area in 2D ?
And you are very welcome, its always a pleasure to help a fellow player.
Heck when I started I didnt even know how to open a xml file lol
I am just glad that you speak good english
I can deal with dutch and norwegian, but my french is abysmal!
some people in Quebec still shudder at the memory of me "conversing" in
 french hahaha
