				| The last two versions shows the new fog shader (but the old water).
the new ship is the finlandia, we will have this as addon for pocsim3dii + poc2008 (free of charge).

the new shader will also be part of the upgrade package for poc2008 as currently planed.

				| Hi RDK, the new water looks nice.
The fog shader however is a bit strange to me. In fog I would expect to see, well, almost nothing on a white background. The images just show double-vision.

				| yes the image below is in stereo, you need a red/cyan glass to see the effect. | |

				| rdklein, do you still work on the problem with the KI ferries stopping inside a
defined range around the ship sailed by the user?
it's not that motivating to crash in a ferry (or sailboat)
which is stopping directly in front of the ship
especially in the expert mode when youre not able to steer around or
 decrease your speed fast enough.

i guess there's a difference between strong an light fog.
maybe it's possibile to have different strengths of fog,
 chosen by random.

				| yes it, I have at least 3 parameters, which are height of fog area, strength (exponentetial fog) and scaler for the far plane. In pocxxl e.g. each harbour has a a parameter fog probability (nebel) which will tell if fog is possible then I choos by random some values (maybe I use a table for different nice looking combinations).

 1. Are you serious?
 2. Doesn't this take a lot of PC capability?
 3. Do you deliver the glasses?

				| 1. yes its our stereo option we support red cyan, but also side by side, interleave and partially rotated images, also for helms etc.
-- we tested this with two projectors in the former IMAX some time ago with great success,
rendering of TWO 1920x1080 images with one CPU was not a problem
 2. about 60-80% more as we do some internal optimizations but mainly depends on the graficcard.
 3. yes you can get it with glasses (the red/cyan)

				| Wow - great pictures! Regarding the foggy world: I'd rather call it haze or smog - but it looks very cool!

What is poc2008, the final release of pocxxl?

 regards Peter

				| poc 2008 (ports of call 2008 deluxe edition) I used the shortcut is a seperate version made for astragon, its about the Classic Veriosn of ports of call (liek Amiga) but fully 3d. Its a so alled boxed version to be present in offline shops also.
Pocxxl and pocsim3dii remain our main line of products (the poc2008 from astragon can also be used as addon to have more ships in pocsim3dii),

I will have an update for both on the new athmon and waterparts.

				| Some new images from the work in progress, dont get confused by the slider on the right side, its for adjustment at the moment without text -- we work on a weather user interface also, when coming from the game (pocxxl for example) automatci values will be used.
