we are shortly before release -- Very Happy

current status:

1. improve of ship control (take 2-4 days I assume)
2. start screen with different flags for language selection (2-3 days)

currently testing:
language, keyboard handler.

yes !
Currently we also test the new nexus with the xhdpi display, we have some smaller scale problems but it will also works there.

test results:

we sucessfully checked the game on the very small display of a Xperia mini (E10I) runing 2.3.7 cygmod - the ship sim is a challenge there but works-- for the nexus I still didnt find the solution, we keep on search (there is also a font problem, but its solved when switching the font size for the moment, I also want to solve it better)
we also work on the start screen for language selection (flags in a window) new UI.

android 4.x now working (nexus) -- was a scale problem the top bar is handled differently than on the 2.x systems.
Return to the last two steps (simulator -- which is already useable) and the start screen to select the language.

had a busy week testing so much, I still work on the simulator control, and not happy with it jet, ship having a bow /stern thruster are difficult to control with the joystick like extra. Though still the littl elines are there. For larger phones its works.
Mybe we will put the 1.0 version quickly online to get some common feedback and I leave out the control for the first release ?

I think getting a Beta on the market would be good, at least you can get feedback from people on how to improve it.

the title screen has a menu for the different flags showing its harbour in the background - we just work on some missing harbours -- I will send a screenshot shortly.

now looks very good, the program part for language selection works, most of ship control also (some fine tuning),
finally next week wil start making a tutorial video, which might help new customers to get started (showing the basic and the navigation) so things come together.

ship control works now.
start screen is also working except for the missing images which we will do the next days.

Only one "bug" remaining, as the sound continues when switching the screen (or phone call comes) -- that should be easy to implement, but some testing required.

Then video can be done starting Tuesday.

We are shortly before publishing.

found another small pause bug, when pressing the pause button the sound will still continue, but that should be solved tomorrow, then the program can be uploaded to the market place.
