				| I found out, that when You have "map123" in Your Bildinfostadtnummer, You can use "map123_harbi0a.jpg" for Your harbi file and not change to names in the .xml at all. That also enables You to use "map123.jpg" as the map file.
Only problem for me is the automatic renaming of all harbiXXXa.jpg to the new name. Anyone knows of an easy way?

				| In my game Douala map is named by this: Douala.png, and my harbi pictures is named Douala_harbi0a.jpg, but that does not work. I have also tried to name them, like this, Douala_harbi93a,
and Doualaharbi93a, but that does not work either. What have i done wrong? In my XML file Douala has the number 92. I put my harbi pictures together with, the PNG maps.

did you cange the line bildinfostadtnummer in the xml file to

 Douala.png?

you need to change the line if you want to show the pictures.
it isn't enough to have the map in the dame directory as the xml file.

				| My PNG map, for Douala looks like this: Douala.png and that works ok, in my game. I have tried, to download a full new version, of the game, and then updated it, but with no result. Maybe you need to be professor, to know how to change these tinngs.
BTW. its not only Douala, I have problems with, it is all the Harbi pictures.

				| try out this self extracting zip file http://home.arcor.de/ctodt/sonstiges/user_addons.exe

this is a copy of my user addon folder.
the data works on my computer.
so maybe if it works on you pc also, you can compare and check
 where the mistake is.

				| I can see, what you mean Christian, but I think, that theres too much work, in just for a couple of pictures sake. If you have to split the hole XML file up, in different parts, it could take me days, to do so, and i dont think, its worth that. I still think, that it could have been done, in an easyer way, if you could have just put the old harbi pictures, in a seperate map, in the useraddon map, like the one you have in the orriginal game, and have to change anything. _________________

				| if you want: in the same folder as the user_addons. exe are also two other
self-extracting zip files Asia.exe an collection of the most asian harbors offered on bigbears website. and the goods.exe which includes the goods you need for the ports. you just have to sort. i already did the splitting and changing of the xml files.

				| Sorry Redevil, but I dont think, that was the problem. The problem is, as far as i Can see, that you have to split all your XML. file, in seperate documents, and that will take alot of time, and I dont think, that I will use so mutch to do so. So I think, I live with the game, as it is. _________________

I can send you some of the files for testing.

I have used Umlauts in town names, that should, or at least never has, created a problem with me, ü ö ä as well as all the norwegian umlauts are ok to use
