Son olles Smartphone kommt mir trotzdem nicht ins Haus. POC sollte lieber für den PC weiterentwickelt werden. Aber wie du schon sagtest "Geld regiert die Welt"

Selbst der Herr Klein ist ja nicht mal bereit hier weiterzumachen obwohl im einige Spieler zugesagt haben das Spiel mit weiter zu entwickeln.

Das sagt eigentlich schon viel aus über ein eigentlich gutes Spielkonzept.

Naja, zwischen wollen und können ist ja auch immer noch ein Unterschied!

Immerhin muss RDK ja auch Geld verdienen, und mit PoC aufm PC is im Moment halt nicht mehr wirklich was zu verdienen.

Letztendlich können wir PC Spieler halt nur hoffen, das von dem evtl. eingenommenen Geld für die Smartphoneversionen, auch ein bißchen was in die Weiterentwicklung der PC Version fließt.

Schade, schade RDK, eine noch treue Gemeinde des Poc XXL verfolgt das langsame Sterben des Spieles mit großer Sorge !. Einige wirklich kreaktive Mitspieler haben sich verabschiedet, mit Recht !

Ja in der Tat schwierig - ich hoffe auch dass die Anroid Version uns wieder etwas auffrischt. Countdown läuft schon mal. Mit viel Glück hilft dass einen weiteren Mitarbeiter zu finanzieren (brauchen wir aber wirklich viel Glück und neue Kunden).

Das mit dem Geld verdienen ist so eine Sache, wenn ich andere Projekte annehme (wie bisher ja auch geschehen) kommt natürlich auch Geld rein, leider bleibt dann keine Arbeitszeit für POC, dazu muss man erst mal einen derart hohen Überschuss produzieren, um Manpower aufzurüsten (ich arbeite genau daran), die sich dann mit POC beschäftigen kann.

Die POCXXL Version ist auch wegen der alten Entwicklungsumgebung sehr muehsam geworden, das ganze Paket muesste man neu auffrischen. Dort steht ja das update mit den verschieden Wasserlinien noch an und ein paar Kleinigkeiten in der Optik.

Nun DOT NET will ich eigentlich auch nicht unbedingt verwenden zur Weiterentwicklung und Unity3D ist zwar super Platformübergreifend braucht aber noch viel mehr Manpower (viel 3D usw.) die man einige Zeit überstehen muss. Eine Portierung auf C++ native wäre auch noch eine Option.

There is a new funding idea, maybe you heard of KICKSTARTER projects (also used for games), when the defined fund is reached all funders are charged and then a project can start -- we ill think about this (in hope there enough interested people) - fund will be for a new 3d version example.

I think PoC should stay were it is, in the XXL version, and not a fancy 3D sailing sim, as there are (far) better sailing sims on the market today.
Please let PoC stay the original trading game with a bit fancier graphics (PoC XXL) and maybe a smallwater version, with the opportunity to do transhipments.
Games like ShipSim are much more developed in the 3D sim and in my opinion can't be catched up with by PoC.

One of the attractions to this game is the ability to make add ons easily, if this is to go 3d then that would be out of my reach to do. I struggled with the harbour builder, all I needed for that was a simple set of instructions of maybe a short how to video on YouTube then I would have done lots of the user made ports in 2d.

Good Morning,
I feel the same as what was written on the abovementioned posts.
I have ALL the simulators regarding ships.
When I want to "work" on a shipping company to make some money I go to my POC-program. I for one do not even use the 2d or the 3d harbour facility when sailing or docking a vessel.
I would rather see that the CARGO function be more fine tuned, and that one can operate a "feeder" system. Meaning to collect containers and bring them to a hub, and then load onto the BIG vessels.
I also would like to see that one does not take huge loads to small ports.
IE: 510 000 tons of oil to the small island in the southern Atlantic Ocean does not make sense.
