Mahlzeit
Mal ne Frage zu der geplanten Schiffsrumpfverlängerung.
Soll sich das nur auf die Schiffswerte beziehen oder auch auf die bildliche Darstellung? In diesem Fall wäre es ja eig. nur für die originalen Schiffe möglich, oder? Weil die Addon- bzw. Redrawnschiffe sind ja in ihrer bildlichen Darstellung so wie sie in ihren Originalabmessungen sind und würden wahrscheinlich recht merkwürdig aussehen wenn man die Bilder einfach nur in die Länge ziehen würde.
Und 2. Frage ...
wird es mit diesem Patch schon die Möglichkeit geben Lagerhallen zu kaufen bzw. zu mieten, um z.B. auch Feeder sinnvoll in den Transportweg mit einzubinden?

Ja das mit der bildlichen darstellung ist noch nicht so einfach, die idee ist fuer jede grafik zwei x werte zu definieren bei denen man die bilder kopieren und damit einfpgen kann (so wie in echt ja auch in etwa), dergleiche fuer die top views. wird fuer 1.0.1 noch nicht gehen,
das mit den lagerhaeusern kommt auf jeden fall aber auch erst im nächsten update. ich werde in kuerze die 1.0.1 freigeben, dann bekommen wir auch schneller feedback und dann gehts gleich weiter. |

RDK, for the extension of ships, please remember that container ships are always extended about 13 m (1 bay of 40" containers + necessary stiffeners etc). _________________ Freight Containers In The Port Of Antwerp |

The ship is essentially a shoebox under bending stress.
Therefore there is a limit as to how much longer one can make a ship, due to bending stresses. This has to be calculated. No easy rule here.
However as an easy rule for the game I would stick with no more than 10 to 15 % elongation, definitely not over 20%.

depends when I make a update stop, I think lets try next monday for example, then I can add some more stuff, but then we make a break and update. All necessary things (for the new functions) are ready now. |

I hope on monday it will be ready.
ready are:
- new port fir multicast on MAC Systems,
-event for custom changed
-sorting of Price/Unit side by the price column
-red label in captains view if timecritical freight
-new radar collision speeds for ships (set to less 10kn) and new table for the different levels on this
-new time display in main menu (prepare for higher timing resolution)
-buttons completted for chat and license key in main menue
- new time display
- new sliders for speed (now grafic) - replaced the ocx previous used
- new fuel and ship statsu bar graphs (replaced ocx)
- new 4 differennt office images assigned by random but fixed to each player
- new some translations done
- user addons now a check box in the startphase, which is saved during program starts, so you dont get the popup window anymore
- statistic replaced by new grafic (getting rid of the ocx and be more felxible)
- the strange problem on some machines "sinking ship also crashes pocxxl", is gone after those replacing steps.
- ai player optiosn for suporessign blinking ships etc. now messages only appear in the full screen on the side, blinking is suppressed all the time
-ply support for addons (<townname>.ply in harbors,
