This is a great simulator and very addictive im sure all will agree. I feel that once you have a few billion in the bank then the game gets boring. after a while i stop using the 3d to enter and just pay my tug fees.
Ideas:
- Introduce wind direction
- Introduce Tidal Streams
- navigation from port to port manualy using maybe a split gps/radar screen and external view, different weather conditions, traffic seperation schemes and more rules of the road, night nav etc
- Auto-Pilot function
- Traffic inside the harbours when entering/leaving 2d/3d modes
- Engineering duties, oil changes to note, bunkering waters etc
- Hiring of ships to companies
- Delivering ships across the world
I realise these are maybe difficult but if incorporated into this game it would be fantastic.
I hope some of these ideas can be used in the future releases.
Great Game

Hello,
I think these are good features for the future, but with these things
rdklein have a lot of time @ 1 the new engine and the editor must be finish.
- Auto-Pilot function
-- If i´m not wrong the ships drive with autopilot.
If not you had to steer the ships over the seven seas yourself--
But as ideas are the suggestions very nice
