Thats great news! Smile

Will you be willing to do other ports if people supply you with all the info needed?

I am thinking Port of Felixstowe and Harwich...... These could be done as 1 Harbour as they are basically oposite sides of the river mouth, Felixstowe only handles container traffic and harwich takes everything else. Felixstowe is the largest container port in the UK)

@StickyMonk:
Well, what we are doing now is clearly a try-out. I don't even know if the devs are willing to co-operate with more user made add-ons.
So let's first wait untill this effort pays out before promising things that, at the end of the line, can't be applied.

BTW:I'm willing to, but remember that I'm doing all this in my spare time (of which it takes a lot) Smile.

Well, as far as user made add ons goes, Antwerp is one of the origianl ports in the game and by now they all should have functional 2D maps.

But I must say this whole Corel draw machination sounds like an incredible amount of work to me!
My hat of to you and the programmers!
Way past my patience level ! Which is of course why I resorted to pretty but non-functional maps, besides the fact that I do not have Coreldraw

the tests look good, when I get the full version, I can convert quickly to a xxl habrour, for the sim3dii, conversion is also quick, but the harbour is not populated with any assets, this can be done later on.
I keep you updated.

Unfortunately it wasn't as it should be. I've send you some printscreens, a cdr file and a little explanation last thursday. I'm looking forward to the next *.ply try.

Due to lack of interest the port of Antwerp will be closed.
All containers will be unloaded in Terneuzen, forwarded by Spits to Luxemburg and send to their final destination by Postillion (4 Chevaux) for express cargo, or 2CV Camion de "rapide" for regular cargo. Wink
We estimate that we can unload ANY large Maersk vessel in under 10 years which comfortably falls within the expected lifespan of such vessels.
