Virtual Captain

One addition I would like to see added to POC is the facility to be more of a virtual Captain for example rather than just steer the ships in & out of harbour but to have POC XXL running the business side of the sim, say arranging the cargo movements to & thro around the globe. It would the job of the core program to issue orders to the captain as to where to pick up the cargo and then onto its destination port ie plotting coarses and leaving the day to day running of the ship to the virtual captain , very simular to the way 18Wheels of steel across america works. Would other users like to comment.

Many of the Ships requires Stats. Points to buy them.
You can earn these Points by steering your Ships into the Harbours with your own Hands. How do you want to come otherwise to these P. ?
In addition this Game would become a pure Business-Simulation.
In any Case: That's not anything for me.

Hi Catfish I thought that, being able to plot your routes and handling the ships at sea might give a more hands on feel with the game and be getting away from the business side of the sim. Might this appeal to more people wanting to play & join the community. With more interaction and control over the ships, maybe activities could be introduced. By the way I am from Devon, Uk.

it would be awesome to actually do a sea voyage plotting course and actuall steering the ship across oceans making waves and currents ,strong winds to make game more realstic
i have played one game were the ships roll in heavy seas and waves break over bow
some thing like this would be awesome
