I think this has been talked about previously, but I'm not sure.
The problem is that when you click STOP (on the main screen), the game often continues. And then you have to deal with several tasks one after the other before the game finally stops. This is so frustrating!
Having to deal with one such task isn't a problem, but often there are 5-6.
This can't be that hard to fix.
Am I the only one who find this so annoying?

well, in a big game there can be a dozen or more tasks...
I call it "run out", it can be a bit annoying when one is in a rush. _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |

yes the game STOP does finish all tasks in the current simulation day, until it reaches the stop command (timer event), becasue office actions etc. cannot be done with a half finished sim day
maybe you need an addtional PAUSE function to help in this case. |

If you implemented a PAUSE function, would it be possible to save the game and then quit while the game is paused?

not really, as the save requires a completed cycle currently, but I will check what we can do. |

A Pause function would definitely be a large step in the right direction, especially if it's always available (for example while maneuvering in the 2d or 3d sim mode).
With pause I could just leave the computer in a hurry and then come back to stop the program when I get some more spare time.
Cheers
