rdklein is it possible to make a map of the panama canal. and if you pass there you can really sail trough it the same as you enter a harbour.
that would be nice with all those locks.

And it would take a lot of time. Imo it's more something for Sim3DII. As a part of the "canal" is very hard to sail, especially with larger ships. _________________ Freight Containers In The Port Of Antwerp |

I think it would require oodles of programming.
Personally I would prefer the Kiel-Canal first ( i am euro centric after all ) It may be fairly easy for RDK to assign a path of water to cross
the isthmus, but the locks would be a lot of work I'd think.
Would you just drive in, then the doors close and you wait 10 minutes and the doors open? or would you have to "park" in an assigned spot?

hi bearsie
P.S. would you please translate this for the other members??? thanks _________________ Seefahrt ist Not (Gorch Fock) |

And here I thought those were the "good old days"
When Bismarck came up with Health Insurance and a Pension plan,
and it only cost 2 pennies for each Mark earned! _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |
