Any help on tankers for the period 1980 - 1989 in the 75000 to 150000 ton range?
I have a couple that is over 200000 t but cannot use it to the full.

Hmm, not so easy to do!
There were not many tanker build in the 80īs. In the 60īs and 70īs there was a tanker boom but after the energy-crisis there was too much tanker capacity on the world and tanker buisiness was not very profitable.
Many tankers were laid up or scrapped in the 80īs.
