Is there any of you, that have Liners in your game, that also can load cars, and trailers. At the moment I only have Ragnar Spirit, but I was thinking, it would be great to have more of these. _________________ Poc is a lifestyle |

It was a strange accident. Still no news about what happened exactly. It seems that the ships capsized just before it would leave the harbour. Afaik it was not during loading/unloading. _________________ Freight Containers In The Port Of Antwerp |

Last information i have heard says that the vessel began to list in the late evening of wednesday and all possible corrections to the listing were carried out according to the standard procedures, however for yet unknown reasons the result of the correction were invain and the ship could not be corrected anymore, which suggest a malfunction in the self healing mechanism. But this is only a speculation. On Thursday the situation became critical. Around 6.30am she capsized.
Here are very good photos of the incident: http://www.fishki.net/comment.php?id=18559
Fortunately nobody was injured, only damage to property. _________________ Visit http://www.pocshipyard.de for free ships and harbours |

Rumours indeed are that the ballast system of the ship was malfunctioning. The ship had already some stability problems when it reached the Port of Antwerp. No official statement though. _________________ Freight Containers In The Port Of Antwerp |

when a vessel capsize in these way,it must be a stability problem.this is possible with wrong cargo stowage, ballast problem or water ingress. |
