though this works, its not what I have intended.

Also you might get problems if I add new towns. And you cannot choose "dont use addons" to get into the new highscore.

I will provide an overwrite mechanism in the useraddon, so the towns modified dont appear twice if patched.

But for the moment you can do it like this.

If you add the goods with an old saved game, they might need about 10-40 cycles to appear in the game, on a NEW game those cyles are done automatically,
tell me if the goods appear after a while (lay up for 10 days for example).

Old games dont have a good list, so all goods are cleared and only the orginal goods are used as start,

for games saved with the new version the new goods are also stored and used for loading (name is searched instead of the index as in the old version),
but if you add new goods they need again some time to appear in the game

I havent gotten around to doing it the new way.
I still do it the old way i.e. add at the end of the town.xml file.
In which case one might still need to use the index numbers and all that.

What does not work? The harbor does not appear?
Double check to make sure the line:
<town>
at the beginning of this specific xml has not accidently been "clipped".
in that case the computer won't see it.
I did insert it into my game the "old fashioned way" to test it and it went just fine. But this has happened to me in the past,
One typo is all it takes, for it to fail.

Ooops !!! Embarassed

My mistake!
I "clipped" the line <town> at the beginning of the xml file.
I edited that post. try it with that and it should work.
Sorry about the confusion !
