I have finally found some info on the Transindia, it started life as an ore carrier when it was built in 1946 originally called LEBORE, renamed in 1948 to OREMAR again in 1961 to TRANSINDIA it was converted into a Container vessel in 1966 and called CONTAINER DISPATCHER, she was scrapped in 1971.

As I can't find a single pic of her I shall have to photoshop some ships together and paste over the original ship.

i will also change the name to CONTAINER DISPATCHER as that is the name she carried as a Container vessel, I will also change the cost of this ship along with daily cost to make it usable in the game.

I've found the "Norilsk" which is a series of ships built in 1982
by the Aker Yards for the russian arctic traffic.
They are Ice strengthed and can load bulk and container
as far as i understood it.

The Norilsk is on my page for quite a long time (Redrawn section)!
She is one of a interesting series of multi purpose Ro/Ro Cargo ships. I like this ship.

Hi StickyMonk,

just stumbled across this thread, 2 years old already. If you still require infos abt the TRANSINDIA ... I recently purchased the "Lloyds Register Of Ships 1966-67" and the "Merchant Vessel Of The United States 1965" at eBay, both give facts about this vessel.

I scanned the appropriate lines and they are availabel here as jpg:

Explanations abt the columns of the Lloyds Register are found here (scanned to jpg):
