I saw this over at Amazon.de ,what's the story on this one?

I notice it is to be completely in 3D rather than the current setup in XXL.

Will the game make the scheduled 10th Dec release date? And will the 3d sim sequences feature the real world locales of POCXXL or the more simple harbours of the classic game?

yes its complete in 3d,
its a sequel of the classic edition in 3d,so you have freight ships only (instead of the xxl line with tanker and liners),

the harbours are the same as with sim3dII and xxl (its compatible so you can xchange data also), with some improvements we work on.

we will have 15 new ships sorted to low cost preowned and hightech. YOu can also use those ships in pocsim3dii.

we currently work hard on the schedule some delays might be possible (we dont hope of course).

You will soon also get an update on the pocsim3dII but this will remain splitted with pocxxl which allows us having more technical features like multiple freights - an update will also help so posim3dii is no longer restarted all the time.

That sounds great, will the initial release be German language only or include English?

Thanks

Also womit wär ich dann schlussendlich besser dran?

also am besten BEIDES kaufen.

I placed some demo trailers of the nwe poc 2008 deluxe edition, on the live stream,
also on www.gamestrailer.com they will be visible shortly.

we just finished the german edition first (distributed through astragon as boxed version), dealsers are welcome to contact Astragon for international distrbution.

--

you can use the new ships of pco 2008 deluxe edition also for pocsim3dii - I will also make some changes and updates for pocsi3dii soon to have new features available there also and new harbour features.

sorry, no as this is a special development for Astragon its not planned,
like with the Classic Edition the Deluxe Edition is a standalone boxed version. This also helps us funding the development of the more professional pocxxl+pocsim3dii versions

But you can also use the additional ships and more detailed harbours as addon for pocsim3dii,

Pocsim3DII (e.g. Platinum) will also be further developed in a seperate thread of course.

The game data files are compatible.

Currently I hope you get a deluxe version and also use it as addon for pocsim3dII !

we also plan some addons for both -- as we need fundings we planed to offer some addon packages.
The high detailed harbours are very time consuming and need some extra 3d manpower -- so if you like this kind of detail I will be pleased to offer more harbours (and also the ships of coruse) like this.
