Okay, I just downloaded the manual for the US version.
No control key list for the US version of POC XXL.
So, 2d sim. What keys do what? |

It can all be done with the mouse.
The Arrows up + down do fast and slow
Left and right arrows do the rudder.
I forgot the rest since I never bother with the keys _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |

In a critical situation I prefer keys as they are faster and more precisely to handle. Fiddling with the mouse to find the right click position for rudder midships or engine stop can be a nerve-wracking procedure when the ship is about to crash.
In pocxxl/2d I've found only one helpful key: HOME stops engine.
There is a topic where RDK announced to integrate more keys to pocxxl/2d identical to the Sim3DII keys. |

actually in poxxl 2d it's much faster with the mouse than the key.
the keys are rather slow
Of course that doesn't mean that the keys shouldn't be available or listed. _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |

And if I'm not mistaken you can use CTRL+arrow keys and CTRL+Shift+arrow keys (or only Shift+arrow keys) to control the bow and stern propellor. _________________ Freight Containers In The Port Of Antwerp |

You are right, that is identical to the Sim3DII, but not available right now are key functions to set rudder and thrusters to zero. |

This list is valid only for POCSIM3DII and PORTS OF CALL 2008 DELUXE EDITION, unfortunately not for the 2D part of pocxxl. |
