I would like to make a few new ports only I haven't a clue where to start.

Could someone please give me details of how to go about it? I especially don't understand how the coordinates are reached or the meaning of all of the letters in the 'Type of Port' category. Not to mention some of the other entries.

Also, how and what are the values set besides each set of goods.

I have looked at BigBears site but unfortunately the explanations are in German, a language Im not blessed with!

If someone could pm me with the help it would be greatly appreciated,

I'm not realy into port building, but I can explain some things:

Coordinates
x positief East and x negatief West
y positief South and y negatief North
So for Hong Kong <x>1142 = 114.2 º East, <y>-223 = 22.3 º North

The value besides each good is an indicator for which 100 is normal. Above 100 is high amount and below is small amount of this certain good.

The letters are explained somewhere in the forum. I used to know this but forgot all the types. Search for it or send a mail to one of the port builders...

Cheers, Novex
