Hello,
I have receive my gold license number, thank you.
I'm french and I notice a few errors in the XXL french version.
I'm working to give a more correct traduction in modify the files :
- Icode8.txt the french translation, so no importance to correct some words always in english in french.
- Icode0.txt the english translation ( common for some words with the french installation ). For me that I play in french, it doesn't matter that the english file is modify but for engllish gamer, the file appear for us corrupt ( some french words in their english ).
I can send you the two modifies files when I have finish if you want ? |

yes, add all missing into the lcode8 it will replace the lcode0 that would be great then I can add it to the update - if you change lcode 0 it might be set back to the old state with doing an update. |

I have play and work all the evening.
I have found that in french game, some words are take in Icode8 ( french file ) but some other are take in Icode0 ( english file ).
I don't understand why but I'm sure of that.
In french version, if I erase Icode0, the game don't work ?
It's necessary to do modification in and keep the 2 files for the game work well and in french.
What you think about this ? |

yes the lcode0 is the maste file and never should be changed, its always loaded and used if a fault is detected in the other lcode files or missing parts,
the lcodex files are derived from the master file, but things not translated, need to be ADDED there then they replace the master file. The idea is to have a incremental system. I could have copied the untranslated part to those fiules with the same result. |

Sorry but I make as you say and I have already a problem.
The first french missing word is online update that I want to translate in Mqaj en ligne.
So I copy at the end of the file of Icode0 in Icode8 :
1
online update
intro_jn11
button
and I modify in :
1
Appliquer à tous les bateaux
kara_maintlevel
choice
1
Voulez vous régler le niveau de maintenance sur le dernier utilisé dans le bureau ?
1
Maj en ligne
intro_jn11
button
And when I retry the game I have immediatly the error message :
Sorry error in Icode8.txt : counter wrong. Check last key : kara_maintlevel
Can you help me ? |
