|
|
Our new harbour editor is now ready for useage. Currenty there is no docu, but 2 samples will be installed, which you can open either with Corel Draw or with an editor using an AI file.
The color scheme is important for the editor to recognize the different parts.
the samples norm.cdr and norm2.cdr contain all different kinds of features.
Important is you need to have pocxxl installed and the path must be correctly set in the editor, a crash can occur if not. You need a valid license for pocxxl also. Double click on norm.ai or norm2.ai to see the contours (you can fill using the fill checkbox), and to save any changes you need to save the data -- large contours can take its time as also 3d geometrie is generated (currently only maya .
The source dictory is where the AI files are searched and also where the ply files go (there at pl9 files for saving infos as well and mel for use with Maya as the 3d contours are also generated - currently maya is needed then)
to test a harbour in pocxxl first do a check for errors, be careful that a calibration line is defined and also some start points (yellow there is a check ifo on this),
then you can copy the ply file manually to the pocxxl directory where all ply resides.

more docus will follow.
have fun.

I just updated the exe file, there was a problem on the license check (not all had it), but the latest pocxxl is required together with the current license. |

you need to have start tthe latest pocxxl at least once.
look into the registry the license file should be at the entry "Ports Of Call"
License - earlierer there was only the path to the license file. |

Positive feedback:
I just installed the download --- no problems.
Win XP SP3, latest POC version installed in the default position (C:\Programms\poc\...), no idea where my license key is placed ... but the harbour editor ist working !
Now it is up to me to learn what I can do with it.
Thanks to RDK and regards

Its is now working, what seems to be the problem is my ship list/harbour list.
Both of these are blank as all ships/harbours have been made into separate files for easy editing.
I just have to put the original town and ship xml files back then the editor works.
Just need to get some documentation now. _________________ Cheers
