If you create a new port how do you adjust the number of berth. I've looked through the xml-files but did not find any information about it.
The "Harbor Infos" showed mostly "14 Berth" varying from 3 (Gythion) to 106 (Aarhus )
To take Betio/Gilbert Island as example:
poc states 14 berth, fact is there is only one lagoon with one anchor berth for a vessel of about 10.000 grt. aries1470 created this port and I'm sure he knew what he did - meaning he had no influence on this feature.
What I would like to express: If the number of berth has any meaning to the game (e.g. waiting days) there should be means to resemble a nearly lifelike situation (if known). If this is available already please correct. |

Well, seeing that Aarhus has the most berths, and not Rotterdam for example, it looks like PoC simply randoms the number of ports somehow.
The number and locations of different berths is often discussed for both the 2D and 3D simulation.
I know RDK still wants to get this part better. Don't know what his ideas are though. _________________ Freight Containers In The Port Of Antwerp |

Every AddOn Harbour has 14 berth!
We are not able to change the number and the lengh of the berths.
This informations are not stored in the xml file. _________________ Visit http://www.pocshipyard.de for free ships and harbours |

Ahh, ok, i have found it, thanks!
Hmm, as far as i understand these files, they descripe the number and position of the berths in the 2D/3D portfiles.
That means as long as we have no editor for building our own 2D/3D harbours, we can not change the number and lengh of the berths. _________________ Visit http://www.pocshipyard.de for free ships and harbours |

yes great,
I can provide a description it it helps.
The calibrate entry is a line with 500meters used to scale the whole scene,
for the berth the clockwise direction is important to show where water is (like the polygons as you did already. |
