Ship Auctions

I think, that the low cost ships should be sold in auctions which take place every period like i.e. half a year. This would create some further dramatic in multiplayer mode. Also it would make the sellers market interesting because multiplayer could buy the ship of the others offered SPAM ***.

I am half and half for this idea. I would like and auction, but a closed one. Players write down their bid one time only. Top price gets the ship. there would of course be a minimum.

I agree with malton and Bregalad..
this would be nice for a multiplayer game, but without A.I. in computer shipping, there would not be that good with auction..
and.. it should, like malton say be a closed one..
this could also be the a way of makin good freights on auction.. the bidder that makes the less price get the freight.. though, this should be closed..

of course, you need some programmed concurrence. Otherwice you would bid lonesome...
