hi all
it would be great if there would be an option in de office for each ship that enabled an autotug function because some ship you will never self steer like the jahre viking

i like that idea, it would get rid of an extra screen....
i don't do the simulation anyway, so the manual option is useless to me. _________________ 2003:I've worked on MTU engines this summer; when I die i'll probably go to heaven, since i've been through hell already....

Well the screen can actually save a little cash. If you choose tug you pay a little amount to get to berth, but if if you choose steer by hand, and the same time has the setting at no simulation, you save that money, but theres a slight chance of a smaller accident (RDK knows the perentage).
When i play PoC I do with a friend, he always choose steer by hand, and sometimes it seems to me that he is the one who has it figured out. |

To me it's a matter of convenience.
Steering by hand will (usually) save you a bit of money, but with ship simulation on it takes a lot of playing time and for some ships (like the Jahre Viking) it's almost impossible to do.
Therefore having an option to set automatic use of tug for some of the ships is most welcome.
