It would be nice to see some some kind of offshore vessels, and it would be great if you could buy oilriggs aswell. _________________ // Martin Gärdeman |

I have voted for "Large Bulkers" but I would like to vote for more than one item: Bulkers, Tankers and Containerships, all in large and very large. _________________ Platinum-Licence, unable to show |

I also would like to vote, for more then one ship type. I also would like to see some more tankers with same volume, as Jahre Viking, and Long Island have. I would like to see some Bulk Carrier for grain, and coal load etc. An d as i have mentioned it before some Reefer ships. |

hi,i voted for large bulkcarriers, because the big bulkers are today between 150000 and 320000 tdw.they are used yery much, especially the chinese industry needs so much iron ore and coal for the steel factories.but we need also some of the new modern RoRo Ferrys, like the new Tor Line Vessels from "Flensburger Shipyard"or the new Finnlines and Transfennica Vessels.also we need some of the new modern tugs from Svitzer, which are in service everywhere in europe.brgds mooringman |

Variety is the Spice of Life
Checking my records I find several offshore vessels, 30 small coasters ( not over 500 tdw) 20 coasters around a 1000 tdw a dozen at around 2000 tdw
and a dozen river sea ships between 2000 and 6000 tdw,
6 sailing ships, 8 trawlers converted to cargo ( thay are pretty )
5 Binnenschiffe ( river barges).
6 Car carriers / ferries
several unique freighters up to 20 000 tdw, a few reefers, 5 small to medium tankers (42 000 tdw)
1 coaster with its own Island in the med
5 Tug boats and 2 ice breakers and one tow
I keep tugs in the game by assigning them either tdw based on their displacement or tonnage based on their towing capacity, which is usually plenty to keep them in the game at a profit, so there is a way to use tug boats and other oddball vessels, since there is no paid tow or ice breaking charter assigning tonnage is one way to to it.
I think my total of oddball ships is about 160, plus a good dozen or so from friendly co- players _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |

Talking of oddball ships. I just added the MS "Uglen" to the fleet.
A Norwegian owned Crane Ship / Heavy Lift Vessel.
Found all the particulars but the HP and speed, so I guessed on that.
Now I have to find something to hang on the hook, a sunken Trawler maybe?
Since sunken ships seem popular at the moment
Since I still do not have a website, pictures on request via e-mail.

Thats amazing
Uglen normally lies at my local harbour, and that is Sandnes in Norway.
I see her every day.

Hei på deg Morten
The picture I used showed her at anchor in or near Kristiansand.
To get the rest of the info I had to do a lot of digging since Ugland doesn't see fit to tell anything about her.
The Craneboom seems long enough that by rights I would have to double the length of the ship. Quite awesome! _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |
