afaik the game doesn't look at the size of the ship. It only has a list of ports with/without drydocks. Nothing about sizes in there. So you can repair a panamax in all ports where you cn also repair Bearsie's coasters. Which one is the cheapest I don't know. _________________ Freight Containers In The Port Of Antwerp |

That is not quite correct.
While all ports that have a dock listed in the townfile can repair any ship up to panamax (the cheapest being Amsterdam and Kingston, Jamaica) only a few can deal with "post" panamax ships...
Unfortunately they are not listed as such in the townfile, the only way to find those is to start a game and send a post panamax ship to each harbor
to find out!
I have NO clue why it is set up like that ... Nor do I know which file and how to access it
I do have a world map that lists some of the post panamax docks, but thats about it. I can email it and or put it on the website. _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |

To get a price range one would have to go into the townfile and look at the line: <repda> less than 100 is cheap, more than 100 is dear...
List of post panamax docks below, Note: I did not check them all personally
Europe =
Marseilles, Rotterdam, Naples, Helsinki, Stockholm, Bremerhaven, Hamburg, Cuxhaven, Gotenburg, Lisbon.
North America =
Miami, Houston, New York, Quebec, Montreal, Honolulu, Seattle, Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles.
Asia =
Hong Kong, Tokyo.
Australia =
Adelaide, Sydney.
South America and Africa = none
This is an old map that was given to me sometime back, not all harbors are listed in it, for instance Brisbane is missing _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie.

There have been discussions about this before.
Curacao comes to mind
Some of the locations of these docks make no sense whatsoever !
Where one would expect a dock there is none !
There was never a response that I recall from RDK as to updating the locations of post panamax docks to bring them inline with reality... _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |

Does not matter, I just want to remind you. In my game I use Seattle as my home port. _________________ Poc is a lifestyle |

If you are loading a ship with the loading menu, you can see top right of your screen a list with the towns available. Next to it you can see if it is possible for the ship (you are loading) to be repaired at that port. Yes = you can, No = you can't |

Cool Beans I never paid attention to that line where it says: dock "free" or NO figured always RDK was giving away free berths in a raffle _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |
