Hi,
I'm a 30y old systems engineer from Bonn, Germany.
got hooked up with PoC on the amiga, ages ago
btw, @rdk, if you wonder where your royalties ended up,
got my PoC Amiga version bundled with an Amiga 500
@Ratio Markt, Münster/Westf. ~88-89, long since scrapped *sigh*
about 5-6 months ago,
I stumbled on your new website and bought a platinum license on the spot,
the hook never really let go, after all these years.
Never had anything to do with the sea and shipping professionally,
but at the age of 6-7,
my late father toured the major dutch/ german ports with me,
still remember those giant container handling cranes towering the sky.
well, the smell of the sea, actually the shore , never let go.
big thx to RDK for continuing this great game,
to stickymonk for your ships and all
the others who have contributed. |

Hi,
my Name ist Stephan and I'm 39 years old. I'm living near Cologne.
first time I've played POC was in the middle of the 80is. It was on an Amiga 500 (good old Times ) alone or with some friends of mine. It was a great time.
Then there was a long time without POC. First I lost the Disk than I didn't found POC for Windows.
Then a few month ago I found Ports of Call in the net. It was a great Day (only for me, not for my familiy ) Since than I try to play every Day a little bit.
Thanks to RD Klein, it's a very good Job.
So loong
Bourbon
Sorry for my English, it's long time ago since I wrote something in English.

Hello everyone,
my name is Thomas, born 1968, sitting landlocked in Vienna, Austria. Its a great city, that offers nearly everything, except the sea.
To change that situation, ther would either be the possibility of move ot a coastal city, which is hardly possible for me, as I am running my own retail business here (Watches & Jewelery) and my lady is not willing to move anywhere with my 1year old son.
The other possibility would be the flooding of hungaria and the southeastern parts of Austra.... |

Hi I'm Dirk I'm from Belgium and work in the callcenter world, nothing to do with the sea I'm afraid. I'm 41 years old and loved the game on the amiga. I bought the boxed set and loved it, but then I found the site and downloaded xxl and loved that even more! I got myself a gold licence but hope to upgrade soon to a platinum.
Ps I wonder why I'm mentioned as a nonlicenced? |

Hi Klabauter´s,
