rdklein is it possible to put hopperdreadgers in the game.
they need a dreadging place and a dumping place in the harbourmap.
and when they made this trip a copple of time they earn de monny and than have to look for a job in an other port.
i think it would be nice,

MS Scheveningen, dutch sandsucker, very modern about 3600 tdw,
MS Zingst, german sea going split hopper ship brandnew about 1100 tdw
MS Vitebskaja, soviet flagged, not so modern, clam shell dredger, about 800 tdw.
Cargo's available are sand and stone, I haven't made Waddenzee mud yet
So there is a fleet, although they are not in the general game.
of course there is no area to dredge and dump, essentially they pick up sand or stone in a harbor and take it to some other harbor.
So some imagination is required.
Not sure what the programming would entail to do it all in one harbor _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |

that can be done, I done that already albeit accidently
Or one could "dredge" in Terneuzen and "dump" in Vlissingen.
thats doable
The only problem is that the computer assigns the freights randomly
to ports worldwide, not sure if Sydney is too keen on taking delivery of Waddenzee Schlick _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |

Cool beans !
Although the biggest and newest are usually a Stickymonk LLC specialty
I shall go look for a coal fired bucket dredger with a windmill driven pump on it
and possibly Tulips in the bridge windows
Senti has modern stuff too, but no dredgers I am afraid _________________ Frohe Reise, Bearsie. |
